Crafted from the Delicato Family Wines estate vineyards in Lodi, California, a portion of this wine is aged in Bourbon Barrels for more than two months, giving it a unique, bold flavour. Offering a story with every sip, 1924’s Bourbon Barrel-aged Cabernet Sauvignon is inspired by wine’s storied past, and a tribute to the year the founders of Delicato Family Wines first planted grapes in Manteca, San Joaquin County, in the Central Valley of California.
With notes of blackberry, blackcurrant and warm spices, this Cabernet Sauvignon is very smooth on the palate and easy to love. The touches of butterscotch, brown sugar and toasted oak lends the wine perfectly to enjoy either on its own, or be mixed in a cocktail. Ingredients
- 1.5 oz 1924 Bourbon Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon
- 1.5 oz. Bourbon
- 1/4 oz. Aged Rum
- 1/4 oz Maple Syrup
- 3 dashes of Angostura bitters
- 2 dashes of Orange bitters
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled.
- Strain into a glass over ice.
- Garnish with orange oils and an orange twist.
