The singer and his band, Maroon 5, will join the show on May 23 to perform their latest single, Middle Ground, E! News notes.”‘Middle Ground’ came together in a flurry of inspiration. Adam Levine returns to The Voice 4 years after leaving the show. He took part in the show as a coach between 2011 and 2019.

Both singers joined The Voice at the beginning of the show, in 2011. Now, 23 seasons later, the last original coach, Blake Shelton, is leaving as well. The announcement was made by the country singer in October 2022, as Us Weekly mentions here.

Adam Levine and Blake Shelton were not only coaches at The Voice, but they are also good friends.

“We’re those two guys you knew in high school where we have this bond that is unexplainable. It brings out the best and worst in both of us. It truly is an explosive relationship. … And I know every trick to get under his skin.” Shelton shared during a 2017 interview, as noted by Us Weekly.
