According to this TikTok video posted by user @alexalaurenclayton, we saw Maria go home last night on the hometown dates episode of The Bachelor.

Joey sent Maria home on the latest episode drop, and since she had become a fan-favorite on the show a lot of viewers were upset to see her go. She has allegedly been a top contender online as the next Bachelorette, but nothing has been confirmed regarding who the franchise picks as the next Bachelorette. Since this season is still airing, we will likely have to wait a bit until this decision is announced.

Maria became a top choice for fans because of how confident she was. Fans also thought she was fun and a great pick for Joey because the duo always looked super happy together. She has even been referred to as a “breath of fresh air” in the franchise. Social media users took to the comment section of the above video to voice their opinions regarding Maria being considered as the next Bachelorette.

Although we don’t know for sure who will be the next Bachelorette yet, the fans have spoken and they are seemingly Team Maria!
