Former ‘Teen Mom’ star Jenelle Evans‘ 14-year-old son Jace is back with his grandmother.

14-year-old Jace Evans has zero contact with his mother Jenelle Evans amid Evans’ husband David’s abuse charges.

“Jace has not spoken to Jenelle since the incident, and Jenelle hasn’t reached out to try to talk to him, either” revealed an insider.

At this time, Jace is back with his grandmother Barbara who had raised him most of his young life.

And reports say Jace is “happier than he’s been in a while.”

While that is great to hear, what happens next?

According TMZ, Jace will remain in the custody of CPS, likely until after David Eason’s trial sometime this month.

But what of Jace?

Meanwhile, TMZ reported that Jace feels like he is back home with his grandmother Barb,

And that he has since returned to school.

We’re happy to hear that Jace is doing better and look forward to seeing more of his progress.

Jenelle Evans and Jace’s history is a rocky one but not all bad.

Evans may love her son, but their bond as mother and child has always been questionable at best.

Between giving him up, her multitude of legal battles, getting custody back and Jace’s multiple runaways,

Jenelle and Jace have their work cut out for each other but hopefully they both believe each other are worth it.
