Chelsea Says the Milestone Feels “Wild”

Chelsea shared a photo of herself smiling beside Aubree, who stood between her mom and stepdad Cole DeBoer. Other pictures in the carousel looked back at different moments from Aubree’s childhood.

Alongside the photos, Chelsea wrote, “17. They say it goes by fast but wow. To think that she is the same age I was when I first found out I was having her is…wild.”

She continued by celebrating the person Aubree has become, writing that she loves who her daughter is and is excited to see “the woman she will become.”

For Chelsea, the birthday marks a particularly emotional full-circle moment because so much of her own teenage experience was documented on television.

The couple share three children together: Watson, Layne and Walker, in addition to Aubree.

Chelsea and Cole also moved on from Teen Mom 2 and built a new chapter in home renovation television.

Their HGTV series, Down Home Fab, allows the couple to share their design and renovation work while keeping much more control over how their family appears on screen.

Chelsea has said the experience has taught them to be more selective about what they share about their children.
