Hayek actually turned 60 on September 2, but waited until September 7 to share the birthday photos with her followers.

In the first image, the Frida star is seen smiling while lying in shallow ocean water. She was topless, with the waves positioned to cover her body. In another photo, Hayek emerges from the water with her long brunette hair falling down her back.

Rather than writing a lengthy birthday message, Hayek kept the caption short and meaningful: “60 and grateful.”

The post quickly attracted messages from fellow celebrities, including Vanessa Hudgens, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Elle Fanning, Rita Ora and Christina Hendricks.
