Khloé Kardashian was seen getting ready for her daughter True’s fourth birthday party in the most recent episode of The Kardashians.

True’s father, Tristan Thompson, was unable to attend the event due to a basketball game, and Kardashian was eventually informed that he had offered to pay for the entire event. During the episode, fans saw Kris Jenner pull Khloé to the side and inform her that Thompson had made the offer, which she politely declined. Kardashian responded,  “That’s really nice, but I won’t let him do that. I don’t need anyone’s help.”

I cannot believe True is turning 4,” Kardashian exclaimed in reference to her daughter’s birthday. “I have an opportunity to shape her into such an incredible young woman, and I’m not going to take that job lightly. I’m going to do the best job I can do.” Given this, it is completely understandable why the founder of Good American decided to handle matters independently and reject Thompson’s help.

Even before the new Hulu series premiered, people were talking about the tension between the two exes; however, it now seems that fans are getting a deeper look at what transpired, which frequently pulls those issues back into the spotlight. However, Khloé appears to be much happy these days, as episode two of the show showed the family taking a positive look back on the previous few months.

In January, shortly after it was made public that Thompson was expecting a child with another woman, the mother of two called it quits with the NBA player. Thompson confirmed the paternity of the child with Nichols in the same month.

Kardashian and Thompson had a son as their second child together through surrogacy in August.
