The eldest Kardashian sister, who debuted her statement new haircut through Instagram over the weekend, has finally discarded her trademark black tone and is now rocking a freshly-dyed platinum blonde bob!

In a series of Instagram photos that referenced Hunter S. Thompson’s classic book Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, the Kardashians star flaunted her new blonde hair while posing next to a slot machine. Kourtney is sporting dark shades and a Blink-182 T-shirt, the band that her husband Travis Barker is in.

The post read, “Every now and then when your life gets complicated and the weasels start closing in, the only cure is to load up on heinous chemicals and then drive like a bastard from Hollywood to Las Vegas … with the music at top volume and at least a pint of ether.”

Using a throwback shot from 1995 and the comment, “bored during my finals, convinced someone to colour my hair blonde to procrastinate,” Kourtney teased her dramatic hair transformation. She credited Drew Barrymore from the 1990s as her new hair muse in the same series of stories.

In the previous post, the founder of Poosh shared pictures of herself debuting lighter hair while wearing a leather lace-up corset and jacket. She finished off her look with a silver statement necklace and bold eye makeup. After the slideshow of images, a more unguarded post appeared showing the reality star’s blonde hairstyle in true glory in Las Vegas.

The couple travelled to Las Vegas to attend the highly anticipated UFC 285 between Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane at the T-Mobile Arena. The vacation to Las Vegas was taken just a few days after Barker, 47, posted pictures of his recent surgery on Instagram.

The Blink-182 drummer started the Instagram caption with, “Thank you for all the love and prayers and understanding this week as I went into surgery.”

“It was a hard decision to make but ultimately I couldn’t continue to play the drums without it. It was inevitable that my finger would have dislocated again without fixing the torn ligament surgically,” he continued. “So grateful for Dr. Shin and that my surgery was a success so that I can keep doing what I love and see you guys on tour soon??”
