Lana Del Rey Set Cut Short Due To Late Arrival
Lana Del Rey was kicked off stage at the Glastonbury Festival because she and her team took to long doing her hair

The Glastonbury Festival is known to have a curfew of 12:30 am for the largest tents and stages in order to be courteous of those living in the surrounding neighborhoods. Earlier this week Lana Del Rey decided to break that curfew and those at the festival held no sympathy. According to the BBC, “The ‘Summertime Sadness’ singer, 38, arrived 30 minutes late to England’s famed event on Saturday, starting her headlining performance a little after 11:00 p.m. local time.” What was her reasoning? Apparently her hair took too long. In the TikTok posted by @sxify, you can see when she finally arrived and addressed the crowd saying, “I was so f—ing late that I am about to rush this set to death, If they cut power, I’m super f—ing sorry, my hair takes so long to do. Let’s keep on running the set as it’s supposed to go.”
@sxify If they cut power there will be riots #lanadelrey #glastonbury #lana #glastonbury2023 #lanalive #uk #festival #fyp
From that statement she doesn’t seem torn-up about the situation, but the audience sure was. Once the festival cut her mic off and the crowd realized the set was over, but not completed, all you could hear was boos and demands that they “let her play”.
@randomtrash4u A hard watch but she still turned it and props to the dancers that didnt let her go through that by herself ❤️ #glastonbury #glasto #glastonbury2023 #lanadelrey #lanadelreyglastonbury #new #trending #today #news
You can see in the TikTok above, from @randomtrash4u, that Lana tried her best to make it up to the crowd; still trying to sing to them without her mic, and having the fans sing with her. Was this enough to make up for her tardiness? This is a heated debate online; some fans are blaming the festival while others are blaming Lana and her team.
