After the massive success of her first album ‘Sour’ Olivia Rodrigo has announced her sophomore album titled: ‘Guts’. The album is set to come out just three months from now; Friday, September 8th.

“For me, this album is about growing pains and trying to figure out who I am at this point in my life,” Rodrigo said in a press release. “I feel like I grew 10 years between the ages of 18 and 20—it was such an intense period of awkwardness and change. I think that’s all just a natural part of growth, and hopefully the album reflects that.”

This isn’t the first we’ve heard of ‘Guts’. Though we didn’t know it would be a part of the album until now;  Olivia took to instagram on June 13th to announce a new single titled: ‘Vampire’, which will be released on June 30th.

We’re able to get a sneak-peek of one of her new songs through what, according to Teen Vogue, fans call the ‘Sour Heartbreak Hotline’. Olivia set up this hotline with her first album ‘Sour‘ as a way to tease new music, but fans have noticed that the track was recently changed to an unreleased song. Could this be our first look at ‘Vampire’? Take a listen yourself at 323-622-SOUR (7687).

Regardless, with all the anticipation following this announcement her new music is sure to make an impact, but can it live up to the success of ‘Sour’?
