In the comment section of one of her latest Instagram posts, Drena De Niro addressed the alleged reason why her son, Leandro De Niro Rodriguez, may have died.

As a person commented and asked why Leandro died last week, Drena mentioned the supposed reason, fentanyl pills. According to the actress’ claims, the 19-year-old has allegedly been sold those pills.
“Someone sold him fentanyl laced pills that they knew were laced yet still sold them to him,” Drena answered. “For all these people still f–king around selling and buying this s–t, my son is gone forever,” the actress, 51, continued.

On Sunday, Drena De Niro, Robert De Niro’s eldest daughter, announced the death of her son on Instagram. “My beautiful sweet angel . I have loved you beyond words or description from the moment I felt you in my belly .You have been my joy my heart and all that was ever pure and real in my life . I wish I was with you right now. I wish I was with you .” she captioned the post.
A couple of days after the news was announced, Robert De Niro opened up about how the death of his grandson impacted him. “I’m deeply distressed by the passing of my beloved grandson Leo.
