The actress opened up about the final season of ‘Stranger Things’. Is she ready to say goodbye to her role?

As People mentions here, Millie Bobby Brown is ready for the final season of Stranger Things and to “wrap up” things. “I’m definitely ready to wrap up. I feel like there’s a lot of the story that’s been told now,” she said in an interview for Seventeen, according to People. “It’s been in our lives for a very long time. But I’m very ready to say goodbye to this chapter of my life, and open new ones up.” she continued.

The discussion touched upon the fifth season of Netflix’s Stranger Things, which will be the last season of the series. The actress started playing the role of Eleven when she was only 12 years old. “I’m able to create stories myself that are important to me and focus on the bigger picture. But I’m really grateful [for the show],” the actress added.

The shooting of the final season of Stranger Things will start in June 2023, as PEOPLE wrote in this article. “We’re walking into season 5. I’ve got a couple more months to train. We start shooting that in June, though, and that will be the final season,” David Harbour mentioned at the Middle East Film & Comic Con, as mentioned in this article.

According to People, The Duffer Brothers, the show creators, opened up about finding it “hard” to end the series. “We do have an outline for season 5 and we pitched it to Netflix and they really responded well to it,” Ross Duffer said. “I mean, it was hard. It’s the end of the story. I saw executives crying who I’ve never seen cry before and it was wild.” he continued.
