National Espresso Day is coming up on November 23 and is the perfect time to celebrate some inventive espresso recipes and brands that constantly deliver staple coffee selections.
Nespresso is the go-to coffee brand for all espresso lovers with a variety of choices ranging from strong to light and bold to subtle. Nespresso coffee is also a sustainable coffee with coffee capsules being recyclable. Nespresso cares about their environmental footprint which is why they go the extra mile to ensure their products work with the environment, not against it!
Below are some go-to espresso capsules and recipes.

Capriccio – Original Line
- The rich, unique espresso is ready to astonish with its complex and balanced bouquet
The perfect mixture of sweet and savoury
- Maple Syrup (5g)
- Festive Forest Black (40 ml)
- Whipped Cream (250 ml)
- Chaga Mushroom Powder (200 ml)
- Boiling Water (50 ml)
- Dill (1 pinch)
- Button Mushroom (1 piece)
STEP 1 – In a little jug, put 5gr of Chaga mushroom* powder and 50ml of boiling water over it. Mix it together and let it infuse for 10min
STEP 2 – Into a whipped cream siphon (250ML Siphon), pour 200ml of cream, the mix of Chaga mushroom powder and water. Add one capsule* of whipper charger. Then Shake vigorously
STEP 3 – In a View Lungo cup, put 5 grams of maple syrup
STEP 4 – Then extract a 40ml of Festive Black Coffee. Add whipped cream on the top of the coffee
STEP 5 – To finish, put a shaved Button mushroom or chestnut mushroom on top. And sprinkle some fresh dill over it
Enjoy a holiday classic with this Peppermint Pinwheel Viennois
- 0% Fat Milk (60 ml)
- Chocolate sauce (3 ml)
- Nespresso Dark Chocolate (1 unit)
- Mint (3 units)
- Peppermint Pinwheel Coffee (230 ml)
- STEP 1 – MILK
Pour 100 ml of 0% fat milk directly into the Nespresso Aeroccino device (up to lower level).
- STEP 2 – COLD FOAM
Close the lid, press and hold for 2 seconds the start button for cold milk froth preparation.
- STEP 3 – BREW THE COFFEE
Brew a Peppermint Pinwheel capsule 230ml directly into the Vertuo coffee mug.
- STEP 4 – POUR COLD FOAM
Pour 60ml of cold milk foam from Aeroccino into the Vertuo Coffee Mug with the help of a spoon.
- STEP 5 – GARNISH
Garnish with some fresh mint leaves, a Nespresso Dark Chocolate square & chocolate sauce over it.
