As this related article claims, the sequel is being led by Bush and Hilarie Burton- both of whom starred in One Tree Hill- and is currently in the works at Netflix. It is unclear what exactly the sequel will entail as of right now, but Bush and Burton are set to reprise their roles as Brooke Davis and Peyton Sawyer in the show.
Danneel Ackles- who played Rachel Scott in One Tree Hill- is also allegedly going to reprise her role.

However, in this recent TikTok video posted by user @laguna_biotch, Chad Michael Murray’s team reportedly claimed that he is not coming back to the sequel, despite being a major cast member of One Tree Hill.

It is unclear who else will be part of the new sequel as nothing has been announced yet regarding Bethany Joy Lenz, who starred as Haley James in the original series.
Lenz, Burton, and Bush all previously hosted the Drama Queens podcast before Burton moved on from the show and was replaced with former One Tree Hill member, Robert Buckley. It is unclear where Burton and Bush stand with Lenz as there was some alleged drama in the past (detailed here).
