What are the allegations against the creator of Rick and Morty?
According to this TikTok video posted by user @charleybournetruecrime, Rick and Morty co-creator, Justin Roiland was charged with domestic violence.

Why did the Rick and Morty guy get canceled?
As noted in the TikTok video, the co-creator of the adult cartoon series appeared in court earlier for a pre-trial hearing after being charged with domestic violence. The incident is believed to have taken place in January 2020 and the alleged victim is referred to as Jane Doe to protect her identity. She is believed to have been dating Justin at the time that this incident occurred.
As the TikToker claims, Justin pleaded not guilty to a felony account of domestic battery with corporal injury and one felony count of false imprisonment by menace, violence, fraud, and/or deceit. A protective order was also reportedly filed against Justin in October 2020 preventing him from going within 100 feet of an individual- it is unclear whether this refers to the same Jane Doe or another individual.
Justin is the lead voice actor in Rick and Morty and does the voices of many of the characters.
The case was dismissed in March of this year as noted here, Roiland said this about the case being dismissed:
“I’m still deeply shaken by the horrible lies that were reported about me during this process.”
The other co-creator of the show, Dan Harmon, was also involved in court proceedings in which he previously admitted- back in 2018- to sexually harassing a former writer on his show, Community. Harmon recently addressed the recent controversy surrounding his co-creator Justin, in which this article states Harmon is “frustrated, ashamed, and heartbroken” over the situation. Allegedly, Harmon claimed he had not spoken to Roiland since 2019. The duo allegedly had a final conversation that left him in tears as mentioned here.
