Ricky Martin and his husband Jwan Yosef tied the knot in 2017 and were married for six years. Then in 2016, Martin Announced his relationship with Yosef before getting engaged in 2017.
Yosef, 38, is a Syrian-Swedish born painter and artist.
According to an article in People, Martin and Yosef first connected on Instagram. “I’m scrolling and I see this beautiful piece of art and I’m like, ‘Whoa, how cool! Who’s this?’ said Martin in 2017. “And then I wrote to him,” he said. When he announced his engagement, Martin said, “I got on my knees, and I took out the little metal box. I just had it in a little velvet pouch and instead of saying, ‘Will you marry me? he told Ellen DeGeneres.
