Fans are wondering about the latest season of Selling Sunset following a post by one of the cast mates that suggests Season 9 is currently underway!
November 14, 2024– According to this Reddit post featuring an Instagram post by Alanna Gold, Season 9 of Selling Sunset is allegedly in the works.
Alanna took to social media to share the below post where she states, “Season 9 here we go,” seemingly alluding to the fact that the hit reality realtor show on Netflix is coming back for another season.

Alanna is one of the newest members of the Oppenheim Group, so this post seems like one of the first to confirm that Season 9 of Selling Sunset is actually coming. There was a lot of drama that took place in the past season and drama that ensued afterward, featuring Nicole, Emma, Chrishell, Bre, and Chelsea.
There were even rumored claims of some past cast members like Chrishell not coming back to film- but this has not been officially confirmed.
Selling Sunset Season 9 Chrishell Stause
According to this Reddit Thread, some fans allege that Stause is going to get a bad edit in season 9- if she agrees to take part in it.
Chrishell has gone viral in recent months after Season 8 aired on Netflix, in which she had subsequently called out production for alleged bullsh*t and manipulation, as stated in the Reddit post.
Chrishell also reportedly threatened to not work with co-star Nicole ever again. “I would rather be sued,” she stated in a social media post. In one of the posts she also asked her followers if we are “still giving air time to LIARS that just want air time?” following the public drama between Nicole and Chrishell’s best friend, Emma.
The Reddit post alleges that production allegedly won’t want to give Chrishell the “sweetheart” edit following her recent claims against production.
Since we don’t have official confirmation on Chrishell’s status in Season 9 of the show, this is all speculation at the moment. There is also no concrete evidence to support claims of an alleged “edit.”
