According to the findings, the top 10 most Instagrammable marinas are as follows:
Taking the crown is Dubai Marina. Known as a picturesque spot of skyscrapers, blue waters, and swanky restaurants, it’s no surprise that #dubaimarina has received over 3.9m posts on the gram. In fact, searches in the UK alone for ‘Dubai weekend’2 have increased by +600% over the past 30 days, giving the impression that people are planning a visit following the lift in restrictions.
Taking second place is Marina del Rey, a seafront community in LA with the port being North America’s largest man-made small-craft harbour. Coming in third is Marina di Porto Cervo in Sardinia, Italy. Famous for its lavish parties and nightlife, the surrounding area features a mix of unspoiled natural beauty and modern facilities, such as high-end boutiques and clubs.
Other spots that missed the top 10 include Montauk Yacht Club in New York, with #montaukyachtclub featuring in 7,354 posts, and Porto Hercules in Monaco which has earned 7,228 posts for #porthercules.
