“The Fall Guy” stars Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.

On Thursday, Universal Pictures released the trailer of “The Fall Guy.” It stars Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. In the trailer, we see Colt (Gosling) working as a stuntman in a movie directed by Jody (Blunt). However, the main star of the movie, Tom Ryder (Taylor-Johnson) goes missing. As a result, his body double Colt is roped in as the main lead.

“The Fall Guy” is directed by David Leitch, who has previously directed films like Atomic Blonde (2017), Deadpool 2 (2018), Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019) and Bullet Train (2022).

It is written by Drew Pearce and produced by David Leitch, Ryan Gosling, Kelly McCormick for 87North Productions and Guymon Casady for Universal Pictures.

The other cast members include Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Stephanie Hsu, Winston Duke and Hannah Waddingham.

The movie is inspired by ABC’s television series, “The Fall Guy.” The show ran from 1981 to 1986 with five seasons and 113 episodes. Back then, Colt was played by Lee Majors, and Jody was portrayed by Heather Thomas. It was created by Glen A. Larson.

“The Fall Guy” will hit the theatres on March 1, 2024. Watch the trailer below.
