As noted in the TikTok video, Yong’s son, Enzo, reportedly passed away at the age of 2 the day before Mother’s Day, following his drowning in a hotel pool. Yong took to social media to share the tragic news that Enzo passed away on May 17, 2024.

The incident was an accident, as Yong describes in the caption of the post, below:
“Here’s what happened: On Saturday, the day before Mother’s Day, our family of three checked into a hotel to celebrate this special occasion. On Mother’s Day, Enzo cuddled up next to us on the hotel bed as he always did, drank his milk, and fell asleep. We all took a nap together. When I woke up, I found that he was no longer beside me. To my horror, I saw that the door to the indoor swimming pool, which had been locked, was now open, and Enzo was found in the pool. The hotel’s poor network prevented us from calling for help so I immediately performed CPR, but he did not respond. So we ran to the hotel lobby with our baby in our arms, begging the staff to call an ambulance and they provide first aid until the ambulance arrived. After half an hour at the hospital, Enzo’s heartbeat was restored, but he remained in a coma. Our brave little boy fought valiantly until 17/05/24 when his heart finally stopped despite receiving adequate oxygen.”
Yong’s followers shared messages of support and condolences following the news. Yong has also asked for privacy during this time as she mourns the loss of her son.
It is unclear which hotel Yong was staying at when this occurred, but it is believed to be in Malaysia.
