An alleged Crumbl Cookies pop-up in Bondi happened over the weekend and it was supposed to be for one day only. A lot of people reportedly showed up and bought a lot of cookies.
After some investigating, however, it seems as though this pop-up was allegedly FAKE and a SCAM.
Why?
Crumbl Cookies reportedly had nothing to do with the pop-up.
People who ran the pop-up allegedly went to America, where the cookie company is located, and brought back Crmbl Cookies for the so-called pop-up. As outlined in the following comment on the pop-up’s TikTok page, it seems as though they are just “fans” of Crumbl Cookies who imported cookies from the brand to sell.
The TikTok page also outlines that they are “not endorsed” by Crumbl and “just fans importing.”
Apparently, the prices of these cookies were going for around $17 AUD (approximately $15 CAD). For reference, single-box cookies in Canada go for $5.99 CAD. This is outlined in the following TikTok video by user @jahankalantarofficial.

It seems as though both the pop-up’s Instagram and TikTok accounts are not available at the moment. It is unclear if there will be any repercussions for this alleged scam, as Crumbl Cookies did not endorse this pop-up.
