The big winners were Shakira, Karol G, Natalia Lafourcade, Bizarrap and Édgar Barrera with three awards each.

The 24th Annual Latin Grammy Awards was held on Thursday, November 16, at the FIBES Conference and Exhibition Centre in Seville, Spain. It’s the first ceremony held outside the United States. The hosts for the evening were Sebastián Yatra, Roselyn Sánchez, Danna Paola and Paz Vega.

It was the women artists that ruled the awards. Shakira, Karol G and Natalia Lafourcade each have won three Grammys. Shakira won the Grammy for Song of the Year, Best Pop Song and Best Urban Fusion/Performance.

Karol G won the Best Album of the Year, Best Urban Music Album and Best Urban Fusion/Performance.

Natalia Lafourcade won Record of the Year, Best Singer-Songwriter Song and Best Singer-Songwriter Album.

In addition, The Latin Recording Academy honoured Laura Pausini with the Person of the Year award.

Even Bizarrap and Édgar Barrera also took three awards each. Bizarrap won Song of the Year, Best Pop Song and Best Urban Song. Édgar Barrera won the Producer of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and Best Regional Mexican Song.
