Has Madeleine McCann been found? Who is the main suspect? Who took her? These are the questions people are still asking after a woman recently came forward claiming to be her.
Madeleine McCann Suspects
Since Madeleine McCann went missing back in 2007, there have been multiple suspects involved in the case- her parents included. Most notably and more recently, German pedophile Christian Brueckner was thought to be involved in the disappearance of the young child, who was 3 years old at the time. However, prosecutors had a hard time proving his involvement.
It was thought that Brueckner was the one who had abducted and killed Madeleine in Portugal in 20o7. However, Brueckner denies he played any part in Madeleine’s disappearance and is currently serving a seven-year jail term for rape, as noted here.

Since police have not been able to find evidence to confirm Brueckner’s involvement in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, he is no longer the main suspect in the case. As a result, it seems as though investigators are back to square one when it comes to determining who may have taken Madeleine McCann.

Has Madeleine McCann been found?
It’s too soon to tell but Madeleine’s family has allegedly requested a DNA test from Julia Wendel- who claims to be Madeleine McCann- to see if the rumours are true, as reported here.
“The McCann family is said to be willing to explore all leads in the search for Madeleine, who went missing from her family’s apartment in Portugal in 2007,” states the article.

As mentioned here, Julia Wendel is claiming she is missing child Madeleine McCann. TikTok videos, such as this one, show side-by-side references of Julia to a young Madeleine, reporting alleged similarities between the two.

Wendel claims she reportedly has “a freckle on her leg and a speck in her eye in the same places as Madeleine” supposedly, she also claims she looks similar to Madeleine’s parents.
Madeleine McCann Age
Although Wendel is 21, she claims her age may be different as she is now questioning her past and whether she is actually the long-lost Madeleine McCann. Madeleine was born on May 12, 2003, which would make her 19 right now.
The search to find Madeleine reached worldwide audiences, who have hoped for the missing girl to one day be found and reunited with her family.

We’ll have to wait and see if a DNA test is performed to confirm the alleged claim that Julia Wendel is Madeleine McCann.
