Jason Tartick is in hot water following a viral Instagram post of him allegedly helping a neighbor.
November 14, 2024– Accoridng to this Reddit thread, Jason Tartick– from The Bachelorette- is under fire for a recent Instagram post in which he discussed helping his neighbor recently.

As outlined in the Reddit post, Tartick took to social media stories recently to claim that he was taking a phone call outside recently and noticed that his next-door neighbor was on the ground by his car, calling for help. Tartick alleges that the neighbor had been out there for an hour and that he reportedly has stage 4 bone cancer so he couldn’t get up on his own.
Tartick alleges he helped him get up and since the neighbour had blood on his head he called 911. In the video clip, Tartick claims that 911 arrived and was helping the neighbor at that moment. Tartick also claimed that the neighbour was “so frail and so shaken up,” following the experience.
What happened with Jason Tartick
However, fans thought that Tartick revealed too many details about the situation and person involved, calling the post “cringe.” The viral Reddit post claimed the following in regards to Tartick’s actions when it came to recording what happened:
“Posting footage of helping your neighbor online is cringy, disrespectful and a massive privacy invasion. Man wasn’t even in the ambulance before [Jason] picked up his phone and started recording.”
Others took to the discussion portion of the thread to talk about how his posting in “real-time” allegedly seemed disingenuous. As well, others claimed that his post seemed disrespectful because the neighbor’s family could have found out on social media since this went viral, that this all happened.
However, others took to the comments to claim that Tartick did nothing wrong and was simply helping the man. This was met with criticism from other users who alleged that he had to let the world know that he did a good deed.
