In recent years, the star has chosen to forgo makeup when being spotted on the red carpet, which fans have found to be intriguing. Anderson was previously known for her sexy smoky eyes and 90s lips so this change in her beauty routine seems like a whole new look for the star.
According to this article from Now To Love, this switch-up happened after the death of her close friend and long-time makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, who died of cancer back in 2019. When Vogel passed, Anderson seemingly decided to stop wearing makeup.
As outlined in this ELLE article from 2023, Anderson referenced Vogel in the following quote, “She was the best. And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup.”
