The music video for Olivia Rodrigo’s new single “Brutal” just dropped directed by Petra Collins, and this time she’s goin’ full-service early 2000s, including her outfits.

The music video pulls viewers directly into a video game inspired by Street Fighter and Clueless’ wardrobe. The glittery and saturated nostalgia wonderland Olivia created begins with an animated and glitchy ‘choose your player’ screen.

The actor-and-singer plays a handful of characters, from a news anchor to a ballerina. All are accompanied by a stylized hairstyle (or wig) and a y2k-inspired ensemble. It doesn’t matter how Olivia comes across; she has grunge up the avatar with black fishnet stockings, layered necklaces, and clashing patterns. Styled by the LA-based sibling-duo Chloe & Chenelle Delgadillo, Olivia’s look is a girlish take on pop punk.

We also noticed Rodrigo wearing a hot pink power suit, a metallic form-fitting two-piece set, gothic tattoo chokers, fishnets, and, of course, everyone’s favourite Vivienne Westwood necklace.

One of Olivia’s most recognizable looks is a partial pigtail, accented by a red streak streaking her brunette hair and held together by colourful butterfly clips. She’s wearing a mini plaid dress, chunky black boots, along with an exaggeratedly ripped white tank top. As she slips on Chanel’s rimless sunnies, an elegant scrunchie sits on her wrist.
