Apparently, the TikToker notes she received a press release via email as a fashion editor, which claimed that Zendaya (who is a co-host) is reportedly confirmed to arrive wearing a period gown from Rita Watnick – LILY et Cie.
What is LILY et Cie?
This is a vintage store in Beverly Hills, owned by Rita Watnick. As a result, Watnick is not the brand/designer. There are also no more details involving what period this piece will reportedly be from. However, since the note states that it is a “period gown” we can assume that this may be an archival piece.
Met Gala Zendaya Look
Although we will have to wait and see what Zendaya will be wearing tonight, other social media users have also revealed their speculations about what the star could be wearing for her highly-anticipated arrival.
For instance, another TikTok video posted by user @romy_talks_fashion, claims that we may have gotten some hints at Zendaya’s look from her stylist, Law Roach.

As the TikTok video claims, Roach reportedly dropped a “major hint” in this Instagram post in which it is alleged that Zendaya may be wearing either this exact gown or a bridal look from Emanuel.

Another alleged easter egg could be that she is wearing an archival bridal look- perhaps from a different designer.
