Lady Gaga dropped her new remix album “Dawn of Chormatica” on Friday, September third, a revamped version of her twenty songs and a host of stars such as Charli XCX, Bree Runway, Rina Sawayama, Mura Masa, Ashnikko and more taking on tracks from the pop stars 2020 record.

With Dawn of Chromatica, Gaga is going all-in on remixes, two months after she re-released her 2011 album Born This Way with six new reimagined tracks. The remixes from Born This Way: The Tenth Anniversary span multiple genres, including country and ballads, while Dawn of Chromatica seems to stick to pop, hyper pop, and EDM.

The album is executively produced by Blood pop, who worked on the original Chromatica Record.

Rumours surrounding Dawn of Chromatica first started swirling when BloodPop teasingly asked fans who they would want to include on the album. “In theory – which artists would y’all want to see on a Chromatica remix album (and on what song),” he tweeted before tagging Sawayama in the post directly following his teaser.

One of the featuring artists, Rina Sawayama shared an eight-second clip of her remix to “Free Woman,” a collab with English singer-songwriter Clarence Clarity on Instagram with a caption saying how much she loved working on the Album.
