Many pessimistic forecasts are made, such as the computer system will completely collapse, the transportation system will stop, banks, places that use computers to manage work will close. However, in the last moments of December 31, 1999, the whole world held its breath and realized that nothing happened.
Destiny’s Child Golden Age
In 2000, LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson chose to leave Destiny’s Child. Not long after, Michelle Williams was recruited into the group, and Destiny’s Child continued to operate with a three-member lineup. Soon later, the group quickly returned to the music scene with the third album of their career, Survivor, around 2000. Many years have passed, but the public and experts have always mentioned Destiny’s Child as one of the most successful American girl groups of the 2000s.
Denise Lewis’ moment at the Olympics

In the 2000s, when millions watched music TV channels, hip-hop stars infiltrated TV shows. Sisqo’s ‘Thong Song’ was one of the year’s biggest hits, while compatriot Nelly garnered a massive response with her debut album ‘Country Grammar, which laid the groundwork for a decade.
