Why Did 50 Cent Throw His Microphone?
On Wednesday night, 50 Cent performed his ‘Final Lap’ tour in Los Angeles, California. The show had been dealing with some technical difficulties that caused the rapper’s microphone to stop working on two different occasions.
In his frustration, he first threw his microphone off to the side of the stage, but the second time he forcefully threw it into the audience hitting a fan on her head.
Take a look at this video showing both incidents:

The microphone hit LA Power 106 radio host Bryhana Monegain. She sustained a deep laceration to her forehead and other minor lacerations to her forearm. She was taken to the hospital where she documented her injuries. Take a look:
Lawyer Addresses Allegations
Monegain later filed a police report claiming that 50 Cent intentionally threw his microphone at her. Today his lawyer, Scott Leemon, spoke to several news organizations on the rapper’s behalf. He said “Let’s be very clear, as I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis [50 Cent] would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone. Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed.” Another close source has said that 50 Cent did not target Monegain, but she was in an area restricted from audience members. Regardless, LAPD is going forward with the investigation.
