Did somebody say Rosé?!
Summer is officially here and what better way to celebrate than with a holiday to commemorate everyone’s favourite summer indulgence – Rosé!
National Rosé Day is on Saturday, June 12, 2021, and we’ve got some fabulous ideas on how you can celebrate this year.
Style & Outfit Inspiration
Your Rosé All Day Outfit of the Day should be fun and classic – we recommend either incorporating shades of pink into your outfit or going for an all-pink, tone-on-tone ensemble. We love outfits that feature light and flowy fabrics, such as a sundress, white or nude espadrilles, and dainty accessories such as a simple gold necklace and clusters of gold rings.
Have A Rosé Day Picnic
Head over to your local park or create your own backyard oasis by setting up an Instagram-Worthy Rosé Day Picnic with your besties! Be sure to decorate with dusty rose, white and pink florals, and set the scene with some themed tableware, such as a pink tablecloth, pink or white plates, and cutlery. You can make your own charcuterie board with various cheeses, fruits, crackers, and jellies infused with Rosé, but be sure to check out the next two tips for treats and drinks to include as well!
Rosé Themed Treats
Your local bakery or patisserie will be thrilled to create for you some Rosé-themed delicacies for you to enjoy. Make sure you try some Rosé Champagne Macarons and Raspberry Rosé Popsicles to keep cool!
Rosé Tasting
Head over to your local LCBO to pick up some of our favourite Rosés and have a tasting with your favourite people. Some brands we recommend you try are Kim Crawford’s Rosé, Whispering Angel Rosé, and Gérard Bertrand Côtes Des Roses Rosé.
Bouquet Making
Head over to a quaint farm just outside of your city, where you can take gorgeous photos among the rows of blooms and even create your own bouquet to take home featuring their seasonal florals!
Tour A Winery
Check out a new winery just outside of the city for a tour and tasting experience – some wineries may even be offering Rosé-themed tours around this time! Our favourite option is the Trius Winery located in Ontario, which has a Rosé-themed Experience, featuring photo installations themed around bubbly!
The Best Part about celebrating National Rosé Day? Toasting to many more ahead with your favourite brand of Rosé of course!
