This year’s Canadian Open was one to remember. Canada’s very own Nick Taylor won, ending the 69-year wait for a Canadian golfer to win the tournament.

During the celebration, Taylor’s friend Adam Hadwn- a fellow pro golfer- wanted to pop some champagne to celebrate. In a stunning video captured by event attendees, a security guard can be seen tackling Hadwin to the ground as he pops champagne in celebration of his friend. In an obvious mistake, the security guard tackles Hadwin to the ground. Other event personnel rush to the scene to remove the security guard from Hadwin. Allegedly, Hadwin ended up apologizing to the security guard- in true Canadian fashion!

All in all, it seems to be a misunderstanding. Hadwin was just happy for his friend!
