The classic silhouette is celebrating a new era!

It’s official – Adidas Originals just announced the launch of Stan Smith, Forever in Canada. This brand new collection features sneakers composed of a series of high-performance recycled materials, recycled rubber outsoles and earth-inspired embroidery throughout the updated designs.  As the brand pursues its sustainability mission, this new lineup marks a new touchstone in Adidas’ journey to help End Plastic Waste, as they continue to work towards using only recycled materials in their products by the year 2025.

Since the 1970s, the Stan Smith silhouette that we all know and love has fundamentally remained unchanged. However, Stan Smith, Forever marks a new chapter, as Adidas looks to create a more sustainable future. The brand has kept the familiar look and feel of the classic style, but from this season forward, Stan Smith models will be an experimental canvas in Adidas’ ongoing journey to help End Plastic Waste.

We love these three new unique iterations of the Stan Smith sneakers from the brand’s newest drop. The first two sneakers in the collection are made of white PRIMEGREEN uppers, a series of high-performance recycled materials, featured on top of white recycled rubber outsoles. The women’s version includes printed planet earth-inspired graphics, a white heel tab, and an ivory tongue graphic. Meanwhile, the second look features embossed planet earth-inspired graphics, gold eyelets, and green heel tabs.

Accompanying the above, the third sneaker features a white recycled PRIMEGREEN upper, which is accented by the Stan Smith’s classic green heel tab and sat atop a white recycled rubber outsole. The iconic look is then further updated with the addition of planet earth-inspired embroidery throughout.

With sustainability top of mind, each pair in the drop will come packaged in the classic Adidas Originals blue box- which has already been updated and revised to be made of more than 90% recycled paper.
