What do you think about the glazed doughnut nail trend, seemingly popularized by Hailey Bieber?
Hailey Bieber took the beauty industry by storm with “glazed doughnut” inspired nails, and we absolutely love it! Glazed doughnut nails are classy but with a bit of edge (due to their super shiny chrome finish.) The neutral base means they go with any outfit and can be worn to any event. Once you rock it for yourself, you’ll understand why it’s this season’s most sought-after look – we truly can’t get enough.

How can we rock the glazed doughnut nail trend for fall?
The “Glazed Doughnut” nail trend is my go-to style this season, and it’s super easy to do. Just use your favourite nude gel polish as a base, followed by OPI’s “Tin Man Can” to get that beautiful chrome glow and shimmer.
Hailey Bieber’s nail artist, Zola Ganzorigt, recently spilt the team on how to get her exact nail look, and it involves using the following colours/coats:
- OPI “stay strong” gel base coat
- OPI gel colour in “Funny Bunny”
- OPI stay shine top coat
- OPI chrome effects in “Tin Man Can”
What are some other fall-related nail trends you’ve been seeing recently?
This season, we’ve been playing a lot with deep rich colours – sultry reds, forest greens and sapphire blues.
Here are three trends that we’re loving for Fall 2022:
Rich in Red: a deep true red manicure is a classic look that always perfectly complements all the warm Fall hues. Our clients are particularly gravitating towards OPI’s “big apple red” as well as our own in-house polish in “Love in Red.”
Forest French: Forest green, a beautiful deep and rich shade of green, is a popular colour this fall and we’re here for it! We suggest using forest green for French tips as a more subtle way to embrace the season’s hues. You can even add in playful nail art (in the same green hues) just on your ring or pinky finger for a little extra oomph.

Psychedelic Neutrals: The asymmetric hand-drawn lines that we’ve been loving all summer are going to be continuing into fall. However, the bright colours are getting replaced by elegant neutrals in off-white, beige, brown and green.
