Body in Lake Ontario Today Found In Plastic Bag

A body has been pulled from Lake Ontario that was discovered in a plastic bag, but authorities have said that it is not “criminal in nature.” The body in Lake Ontario today was found near the Queens Quay Terminal between York Street and Queen’s Quay West.

A call was made to the Toronto Fire Services at 7 a.m. this morning after someone spotted the body inside of a black plastic bag. The Police Marine Unit pulled the body out of the water, and police are saying it is not part of a criminal investigation.

Authorities have said that they are unable to release any other details. There was no mention of why a body being found in a bag is not considered suspicious, much to the dismay of people online who are commenting on the report.

We will update this article if any further details are released in the future.
