Offset and Cardi B are “icon status”

On Wednesday, May 25th, Offset was featured as the new cover star for Variety. In the interview, Offset revealed how important his wife Cardi B is in his life and goes into detail about his lean addiction. “We are a great team,” says Offset. The American rapper further expresses, “We’re a powerhouse at this point — icon status. We believe in God. We believe in family. We’re always going to keep winning.”

The feeling is mutual between this power couple as Cardi B adds, “What I appreciate about my husband, is that no matter what issue I am having personally or professionally, I know he will take care of me and our family. It’s handled. I know that I have a man who has my back for real. I fully support him in this next chapter of his music career.”

Within the interview, offset credits his wife and family for quitting his lean addiction. He wants to set an example within the rap industry which is heavily affiliated with drugs.

“I put down lean. I was drinking my whole career. It opened my mind up, but I never thought it helped me create. I feel like getting past that, cleaning up, and putting that message out.”

Are Offset and Cardi B still together?

Offset and Cardi B secretly tied the knot in September 2017. Since then the couple shares two children, Kulture Kiari Cephus, 4, and son Wave Set Cephus, 1. Offset also has children from previous relationships, in which Cardi B treats as her own. Offset and Cardi B have had their ups and downs with reports of infidelity and two filings for divorce. But despite these occurrences, they have made it through thick and thin and remain a married couple.
