Jamar Chase has a Monster game in Win against the Cowboys.

December 11, 2024- The Bengals officially spoil the Cowboys season and pull off their 5th win of the year in a nail-biting finish.

The Cowboys have had yet another devastating loss. A failed block punt which led to a 4th down conversion by the Bengals set up a Jamar Chase 40-yard touchdown to seal the game.

Bengals Player Stats

Joe Burrow continued his lights-out play despite the narrow victory. He completed 33/44 passes for 369 yards, 3 touchdowns, and an interception. Two of those touchdowns landed with Jamar Chase. He caught 14 balls for 177 yards with his final touchdown coming to win the game late in the 4th.

Running back, Chase Brown had a notable game as well. Hauling in 6 balls for 65 yards and a touchdown. He also got it done on the ground. Rushing 14 times for 58 yards.

Chase was the main target for the offense as he tore up the Cowboys’ secondary. He has been on a huge run this season proving that he has the #1 receiver ability in the NFL. He currently sits at 15 touchdowns on the year which leads the league. He also is first in receiving (1,319) and first in receptions (93).

The Bengals have had one of the most efficient offenses in the NFL this year. Along with the best quarterback/wide-receiver duo in Burrow and Chase. Yet their defense has consistently let them down. They have lost a majority of their games by one score and if Burrow hadn’t been playing at a perfectly elite level week in and week out, they would certainly have many more losses to count.

Cowboys Player Stats

Cowboys got it done on the ground last night. Running back Rico Dowdle is earning that lead-back role. He rushed 18 times for 131 yards with a 7-yard-per-carry average.

Quarterback Cooper Rush completed 16/31 passes for 183 yards, 2 touchdowns, and an interception. Rush didn’t look great as the offense struggled to move the ball through the air against a poor Bengals secondary.

Star receiver Ceedee Lamb took on a major load for the offense. Catching 6 balls for 93 yards and a touchdown. He was coming off a shoulder injury but it seemed that the Cowboys weren’t concerned over it as they had him rush the ball a couple of times as well.

Cowboys vs. Bengals Endgame

The Cowboys kept the game tight all the way to the 4th. The Bengals punt from their own side of the field at 4th and long. The Cowboys special teams unit manages a block. A miraculous feat at this stage of the game which could have been the turning point and led to a Dallas win. Unfortunately, the Cowboys could not recover the blocked punt and the Bengals took it downfield for a first down.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he was “devastated” following the play. Star linebacker Micah Parsons was also visibly frustrated as well.
