Cowboys Scrape by with a Win over the Steelers. HOLR breaks it down.

Cowboys vs Steelers Score

Following a 90-minute delay, the Cowboys managed a gritty win against one of the top defenses in the NFL.

Trailing by 4 at the end of the 4th quarter, the Cowboys move the chains down to the Steelers red zone. They sit at 4th and goal with a handful of yards to the endzone.

He drops back into the pocket, looks right, then left. T.J. Watt is coming down for the sack. He lets the ball fly to Jalen Tolbert on an out route. Touchdown.

In one play, he demonstrated to fans why he is worth the $240 million dollars they pay him.

Cowboys vs Steelers highlights

Prescott threw for 352 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. Not his best game, yet he still delivered when it mattered most. Find more stats here.

On the other side of the ball was a rather abysmal performance from Steelers quarterback Justin Fields. Fields looked more confident running the ball than throwing it. Despite his two early touchdowns, it wasn’t enough to ride the coattails of his defense to a win.

Fields has had an OK start to the season, though it was his defense that brought them to their 3-1 start prior to their loss to the Cowboys.

Fields struggled to connect with wide receiver George Pickens throughout the game. When asked about it during the postgame conference he stated plainly, “He just didn’t get involved as he usually does.”
