Paris Haute Couture Week is a fashion lover’s dream with stylish celebrities, A-list influencers, and runway moments that never go unnoticed. Chanel, Givenchy, Valentino, and several other famous designers showcased their Fall 2019 collections. However, this year the style on the streets turned heads with fun prints and statement accessories that stood out from the crowd.

Animal Print

Classic animal print is a timeless staple for anyone’s wardrobe, especially when it comes to leopard print. The statements that could not be missed this time around were Fashion-forward metallic leopard print motifs. Speaking of making an entrance, an outfit can’t be completed without its fair share of accessories. Seashells, pearls, thick belts, sunglasses, and strappy sandals complimented many of the summery looks as people strutted their stuff to the notorious fashion event.

Power Suits

Valentino’s collection, an expression of colourful femininity, was so spectacular. It even made Celine Dion cry! Epic power suits with exaggerated silhouettes and colourful floral patterns on the streets were proofs to this. Even Anna Wintour wore a cream dress with a splash of bright blue flowers. Power suits have been a symbol of empowering women over the last couple of years. But, they are getting bigger and better with endless shades of colour and oversized designs that are meant to look androgynous. These bold looks are trends that are definitely not going anywhere anytime soon!

Polka Dots

Polka dots have been around since Minnie Mouse and Marilyn Monroe. But, the modern style of polka dots was featured on countless dresses in various colour combos during that week in Paris. Why not spice up your summer polka dot look like these fashionistas?

This year’s theatrical spectacle of style during Paris Haute Couture Week did not disappoint on and off the runway. This is why Paris is considered one of the fashion capitals of the world! Check out Paris Fashion Week for the latest looks this coming September.
