Miami real estate influencer Daniela Rendon is being investigated for fraud. According to US Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, Daniela Rendon used $381,000 of COVID relief funds to fund her own lavish lifestyle instead.

Daniela used the funds, intended to help businesses during COVID, to buy a new Bentley, a luxury apartment in Miami and to get cosmetic surgery. According to the authorities, the Influencer was fabricating payroll funds as if she were employing friends and family but pocketing the money herself.

31-year-old Daniela, frequently flaunts her fancy lifestyle on Instagram. Since the charges were published online by the United States Department of Justice, Daniela has deleted her Instagram account, which could be previously found here.

The Miami Influencer now faces, “seven counts of wire fraud, two counts of money laundering, and one count of aggravated identity theft”, as written on the Department of Justice website. According to the article, if she is convicted she may face up to 2o years in prison.
