As the day drew to a close, we ventured into historic downtown Kissimmee, where Broadway Pizza Bar awaited. A must-visit for food enthusiasts, this gem offers a delicious selection of pizzas, pastas, wings, calzones, sandwiches, and cannolis- satisfying every craving!

Today, our adventure began with a touch of luxury as we woke up to a gourmet breakfast prepared by our very own personal chef at the Magical Vacation Home. Freshly baked bagels, flaky croissants, accompanied by creamy yogurt parfaits and a decadent chocolate cake. The options didn’t end-perfectly cooked eggs, sizzling bacon, and pancakes. With our appetites satisfied, we set out for the day filled with adventure and exploration. Our first stop was the Paddling Center, where we embarked on a kayaking journey through the rivers of Kissimmee. As we paddled along with our guide, surrounded by beautiful nature, we were astonished at the abundance of wildlife. From turtles basking in the sun to herons gliding above us, we kept a watchful eye out for alligators. Although they remained hidden from view, they do call these waterways home. 
The Paddling Center offers a variety of options, from canoes to paddle boats; we opted for the use of single and double kayaks. The journey stretched out for two and a half blissful hours, carrying us along the winding currents that eventually flow into the majestic Everglades.
After working up an appetite with our morning adventure, we made our way to Celebration, a charming town just minutes away from Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World. Here, we entered Columbia Restaurant, a culinary Spanish and Cuban gem that has been delighting diners since 1905. The highlight of our meal was the “Columbia’s Original 1905 Salad,” which was prepared right before our eyes at the tableside. 
As the day began to wind down, we tackled one final adventure. Celebration Bike Rental, where we pedaled through the picturesque streets of the town, taking in the beauty of our surroundings. Armed with trail maps provided by the rental, we explored the neighborhoods of Celebration and even caught a few glimpses of alligators basking in the sun by the lakeside. This is the perfect way to explore the town outdoors and get the most out of your adventure.
Exploring the Authentic Heart of Florida
On yet another thrilling day of our Florida journey, we uncovered both natural and culinary experiences at Boggy Bottom. Nestled on 32 acres of natural Florida land, Boggy Bottom is not just a beautiful destination; it’s an experience crafted over 30 years of dedication and love. Owned and operated by women, this establishment embodies the spirit of Native Florida, offering authentic charm. As we arrived, we were immediately struck by the serene ambiance and adventure. 
Our day began with a visit to the resident alligators, where we equipped ourselves with bags of goodies to feed them. The thrill of seeing these creatures up close was matched only by the excitement of gem finding in the sprawling mining slough. Sifting through the soil, we unearthed fossils, crystals and gems.
Our adventure continued with an exhilarating airboat ride through the central Florida Everglades. As we sped through the wilderness, we marveled at the untouched beauty of the wetlands, spotting everything from striking birds to turtles. Of course, the highlight was encountering an eight-foot-long alligator, a reminder of the magnificence of nature. 
After working up an appetite, we headed to Boggy Bottoms BBQ, where lakeside seating provided the perfect backdrop for indulging in Kissimmee’s finest barbecue. From delicious ribs to melt-in-your-mouth pulled pork, every bite was a testament to the culinary skills of Boggy Bottoms. And yes, we couldn’t resist trying the infamous alligator bites- a true taste of Florida. 
Our journey concluded with a leisurely stroll through Lily’s Butterfly Garden, a walk-through enclosure that showcases fluttering butterflies and greenery. We couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of appreciation for the natural wonders of this state.
For those seeking a different kind of adventure, the Outdoor Premium Outlets beckoned with their array of luxury brands and designer stores. From Versace to Gucci, the lineup was impressive, offering opportunities for retail therapy and indulging.
After a day of exploration, we retreated to Jojo Shakes, a retro diner and bar that captures the nostalgic spirit of the 80s and 90s. With elaborate milkshakes and mouth watering burgers, it was the perfect spot to unwind from our big day.
Our evening concluded with a visit to Earth Illuminated, a family-run business that blended artistry with innovation. From their immersive experience to the exquisite dining at Hidden Gem, every moment was infused with creativity and wonder. And who could resist the allure of the rare “Wine of the Sea” sourced from the depths of the Adriatic and offered as a truly unforgettable indulgence.
