Dr.Martens is releasing their newest collaboration – the 1460 Remastered collection with Japanese label Needles. This will be their 8th drop of the year as they celebrate their 60th anniversary. Each collaboration drop every month this year is designed by someone special who has a long history with the brand. This is their August drop designed by Keizo Shimizu, the creator behind Needles. Inspiration for this design stems from a blend between both vintage Americana and Japanese styles.

Dr.Martens x Needles collaboration is a collision of their contemporary branding and the deep-set heritage of their 1460 boot. This boot is appealing to the eye and is detailed with the trademark “Papillon” butterfly on the toe and deep purple track pant stripes down the side. This design encompasses the desirable attributes of both brands and is particularly unique and rare. According to Needles, the boot has timeless, universal, unbiased attractiveness.

Created in 1960, the 1460 lace-up boots are Dr.Martens’ most famous and instantly recognizable silhouette. The 1460 Remastered collection continues to demonstrate how iconic and timeless their style of shoe is and that creative boundaries do not exist.

Dr.Martens x Needles is dropping on August 22nd at 8 am PT with limited quantity.
