If you have ever wondered what rockers wear on vacation, look no further than Salvatore Ferragamo’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection as it reunites with its physical fashion audience after 12 months apart.

Ferragamo is going through a transition; the new CEO, Marco Gobbetti, is expected to start his tenure at the beginning of next year. In the meantime, designer Guillaume Meilland, who’s been working on the label’s menswear for quite a few seasons, is keeping the creative flame alive. For spring, he tried his hand at womenswear, valiantly navigating a rather tricky territory.

The show’s combination of a rock/punk aesthetic and casual resort wear silhouettes culminate in a minimalistic bohemian look. The monochrome looks are balanced out with statement pieces such as a blue caftan and a mustard trench. In true Ferragamo style, each garment follows a strict structure while also following the fluidity of the body.
