Jada Pinkett Smith talk show was canceled by Facebook on Wednesday, PageSix confirms. However, the online talk show producer, Westbrook, is not willing to give up on Red Table Talk and wants to move it to another platform.

As Mina Lefevre, Meta’s Head of Development and Programming, has left Facebook, the last Watch Original show on the platform has also been canceled, Deadline notes. Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris were the hosts of the Daytime Emmy winner talk show. Soon after the decision was made, the Red Table Talk shared an official statement addressing the cancelation. ‘We are so grateful to have had such a beautiful partnership with Facebook Watch and we are sorry to see the entire team disband. We wish everyone well in their new journeys to come.’ they wrote, as mentioned by DailyMail. ‘We at Red Table are in talks of finding a new home and we’ll see you soon.’ they added.

Several celebrities have been invited to the Red Table Talk, including Kevin Hart, Snoop Dogg, Demi Moore, and Keanu Reeves, as noted by People. Following the notorious Will Smith’s Oscar slap, Jada addressed the incident during one of the show’s episodes. She encouraged “these two intelligent, capable men [to] have an opportunity to heal, talk this out and reconcile.” PageSix notes.
