Janet Jackson Will Reportedly Have Another Las Vegas Residency

August 6th, 2024 – Muscian Janet Jackson is in talks of having another Las Vegas residency.

A unknown source has seemed to confirm Janet Jackson is in the final stages of signing on another Las Vegas residency. Jackson had her first residency back in 2019. If the current plan follows through, Jackson’s 2nd residency will take place at Resort World in Las Vegas starting in December. It is being said that Jackson will also perform during New Years Eve at the Las Vegas venue if the plan gets the green light. Not much information is known about the new residency so far, but it is said to be only a short stint.

Jackson has currently been on a long stint of her “Together Again” tour. The tour initially took off in 2023 and has had an extension into 2024. The singer added over 30 more shows taking place in the U.S and the UK/Europe. Around a week ago the singer marked the last show of the U.S. extension of the tour before heading overseas. Jackson was offered a similar residency to her Las Vegas deal overseas. She was offered a residency deal at a venue in London. She evidently passed on the UK deal, feeling the Las Vegas deal was more lucrative.

News has also broken recently that Celine Dion might be having a Vegas residency around the same time as Jackson. While nothing is confirmed for Dion at the moment, both artists could have a place around the same time at a similar venue. With other artists like Katy Perry and Carrie Underwood wrapping up their residencies, it leaves room for new acts to take the stage in the busy city.
