Former TV Host, Jerry Springer Dead At 79

Jerry Springer, an iconic talk show host has passed away at the age of 79.

According to reports, Springer died peacefully in his home in the Chicago area on Thursday morning.  A spokesperson for the family claimed that Springer was battling pancreatic cancer that was diagnosed only a few months before his passing.

Jerry Springer was an American television personality who rose to fame as the host of “The Jerry Springer Show,” a daytime talk show that first premiered in 1991. The show quickly gained attention for controversial and outrageous topics.

The beginning of Springer’s career began in 1970, when he worked as a political campaign advisor and later as a news anchor in Cincinnati, Ohio. He went on to host a local talk show in Cincinnati, which eventually led to his national talk show, “The Jerry Springer Show.”

Overall, the legacy which Jerry Springer has left behind will be extraordinary. His work has touched many people’s lives making him one of the most recognizable figures in the entertainment industry.
