JoJo Siwa iHeartRadio Awards 2025 Shocking Wig

March 19, 2025 – JoJo Siwa raised eyebrows and turned heads at the 2025 iHeartRadio awards with an intricate and eyepopping headpiece.

Always one to make a splash, JoJo Siwa decided to one-up those eccentric headpieces of the 18th century on the 2025 iHeartRadio Awards’ red carpet.

The Dance Moms alum had woven her hair into a giant loop, accessorised with a giant bedazzled ball and arches of gemstones. The entire contraption far exceeded the size of her head, adding more than a foot to her total height.

In an interview with Page Six, Siwa revealed that her entire outfit took four hours to put together. Apparently, her large headpiece did not cause a fuss, as she said it “only took, like, an hour; it’s pretty chill.”

The 21-year-old dancer-turned-musician revealed to E!News that she brought her idea for this outfit to life with the help of her mother, Jessalyn Siwa. “I told everyone on my team what I wanted, every piece to the puzzle,” she explained.

“My mom, she made this,” she continued. “And she was like, ‘OK, honey, I’ll trust you, but I don’t think it’s gonna [work],’ and here we are.”

JoJo Siwa Red Carpet Appearances

This isn’t the first time Siwa turned heads on the red carpet. At the 2024 iHeartRadio Awards, she created an uproar with her now infamous rebranded look. With a faux mohawk, black-leather outfit, and KISS-inspired face paint, Siwa transformed, shedding her child-friendly image and adopting her new persona.

While many were shocked about this change, Siwa seems to be thriving. She told E!News that “I’m in a phase where I think a lot of people would think I’m burnt out, but I’m feel like I’m just getting started.”

“I feel like I’m right where I was at age, like, 15 again, and I feel re-inspired.” Continuing, she explained, “I’m excited for new music I’m excited for more live performances. I’m just like, the fire’s relit.”

Not only that but Siwa has been encouraged to continue on her path of self-exploration by other artists, including Lil Nas X and Meghan Trainor, revealed Page Six. Siwa told them, “The way that I’m able to keep going and keep being like, ‘Wait, actually, what I’m doing is right’ is because some of the most respected people in the world have come up to me and been like, ‘What you’re doing right now is so right. It is what the world needs, and I’m learning from what you are doing right now.’”
