Jojo Siwa is reportedly under fire following a bombshell article that just dropped with Rolling Stone, exposing the dancer and her momager, Jessalynn Siwa.
According to this TikTok video posted by user @sudoku61, the internet was shocked to learn that a former member of XOMG Pop! recently alleged that she was mistreated during her time in JoJo Siwa’s girl group, as exposed in a recent article by Rolling Stone.
HOLR is breaking down a synopsis of the article provided by the TikToker below, who goes into detail about the alleged mistreatment, calling what has seemingly come to light “genuinely disturbing.”

As the TikToker mentions, back in 2021 Jojo and her mother created a show called “Siwas Dance Pop Revolution.” This show would audition young girls for a pop band. As a result, the band was formed called XOMG Pop! and the girls in the band were around 8-14 years old.
The TikToker alleges that most of the girls were bound by NDAs, except for one of them- Leigha Sanderson, who left the group. It was Leigha and her mom who allegedly spoke with Rolling Stone to expose what seemingly happened during the young girl’s time in the pop group.
Allegedly, the children did things such as; perform on cruises, make content videos, and create YouTube content- however, they supposedly did not see any of the money from these instances and the work they put in, as the TikToker notes. It is alleged that the Siwas took the money, instead.
The girls and their mothers also reportedly had to pay for all of their own travel and accommodations even though the Siwas reportedly bought them a content house- that they couldn’t live in. Allegedly, Leigha and her mother had to sleep on the floor of a dance studio for over a year because they weren’t paid enough to rent anywhere.
The TikToker also explains that Leigha is disabled in which she has spina bifidia. In one instance, it is claimed that Leigha started bleeding out of her belly button and was told to “put a maxi pad over it” and continue dancing. Leigha also had to get spinal surgery and was supposedly forced to go back to dancing way too soon.
Claims also allege that the girls were forced to compare themselves to one another and alleged drama was created between them. As the TikToker notes, it is alleged that Jojo and Jessalynn would hurl abuse and seemingly bad mouth the girls during shows.

In a bombshell claim, supposedly, once they stopped filming for the show and became a band, the girls were not subject to any of the laws that protect child labor in Hollywood. As a result, the girls fell behind in schooling, were working illegal hours, and weren’t getting paid enough.

The TikToker claims that although Jojo seemingly perpetuated a lot of this alleged abuse that the girls supposedly ensured, she has also allegedly been exploited by her mother in the entertainment industry for years so potentially doesn’t see the impact of these actions on these young girls.
Rolling Stone claims that Leigha was terminated from XOMG Pop! last year. Following this, two other members- Kinley Cunningham, and Bella Llerena- left the group, and only three of the original members reportedly remain (Brooklynn Pitts, Tinie T Azaryan, and Dallas Skye).
