Kate Middleton Update
Back in March, Middleton announced that she was diagnosed with cancer, after months of staying out of the public eye.
Middleton was also the target of internet ridicule, as memes and jokes about her whereabouts flooded all social media platforms with hashtag #WhereisKate.
In the announcement posted on YouTube, Middleton said, “In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous.”
She continued, “The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.”
Celebrities like Stephen Colbert and Blake Lively came forward afterwards apologizing for making conspiracy jokes about Middleton.
