Kelsea Ballerini recently commented on her five-year marriage with her ex Morgan Evans. Her comments, which she posted via Instagram ahead of her interview on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, have been criticized by none other than Evans himself. Kelsea Ballerini Marriage Split

As reported by Page Six, Kelsea Ballerini has shared on Instagram that supposedly when she was still finalizing her separation from Morgan Evans, she was “sleeping on the couch” and felt as if she was the only person giving any real effort into the relationship. She also said that Evans took “half of the house that he didn’t pay for“, making her feel tired, unseen, and unheard. In addition, she revealed that her parents were divorced too, and as a result, there was a point in her life when she thought she wouldn’t want to get married. Ballerini and Evans filed for divorce in August 2022 but their separation was not finalized until two months later. Evans had since released a song, “Over For You”, in November 2022 to air his grievance about how blindsided he felt after Ballerini left him. Ballerini was reportedly unhappy that Evans released that song and has called her ex-husband “really opportunistic”. She has told her side of the story in her Extended Play recordings, Rolling Up the Welcome Mat, which gained Evans’ criticism.

Morgan Evans Called Kelsea Ballerini Out

On February 21st, Morgan Evans took to his Instagram to tell followers that his ex-wife was not saying the truth and that she has been “leaving out what really happened”. Nevertheless, he hoped that Ballerini’s statement “could help her heal” and urged fans not to be mean to the singer-songwriter. “Don’t be mean to each other”, he wrote, “life’s too short”.

Kelsea Ballerini Dating Outer Banks Chase Stokes

After divorcing Morgan Evans, Kelsea Ballerini is now dating Chase Stokes. The two have been following each other on Instagram and their relationship, which Ballerini said began in December, started with a DM. In January, the pair were spotted attending a sports event together in Inglewood, California. Days later, Chase Stokes posted a photo of them snuggling up at another football game, solidifying the circulating speculation about their budding romance. It wasn’t until well into February, however, that Chase Stokes opened up about their romantic involvement.

Whether Ballerini and Stokes’ relationship would end in marriage remains to be seen, but for now, Ballerini has said that she “loved the idea of a partnership but isn’t sure in the legality of it anymore” because she believed that loving someone is a daily chore more than just a mere legal status, according to this article here.
